Our story
Breast health is one connected story. It's time our information, care, and products caught up. The Mammary is a trusted destination for breast health — useful information, expert guidance, research, advocacy, and product curation in one place.
The gap
Breast health lives in pieces. A lactation consultant here. A surgeon there. A forum thread at 3am. A product recommendation from a stranger. Nobody was holding the whole picture — least of all the person living in the body.
We started The Mammary because the information existed; the connection didn't.

The standard
We are not a store with every product on the shelf. We select — deliberately, and mostly from women-founded brands building things that should have existed decades ago.
Every recommendation traces back to clinician-reviewed guidance, verified product attributes and published evidence. Sponsorship never changes the ranking, and anything sponsored is labeled and kept separate.

The ecosystem
Research holds the evidence. Learn makes the evidence useful. The Mammary ModUS is where people share what it actually felt like. Products sit in the middle, chosen because the evidence and the experience both point there.
Each one makes the others better. That's the whole design.

The work ahead
We start where the need is loudest — painful breastfeeding, supply worries, pumping at work. From there: surgery recovery, radiation, menopause, and the long middle nobody writes about.
Breast health is lactation. Lactation is breast health. One chest, one lifetime, one place to go: FORWARD.

“Knowledge shouldn't be gated. Care shouldn't be a privilege.”

How we operate
The Mammary is not a medical provider and does not give medical advice. For personal health concerns, speak with a qualified healthcare professional.
Guidance is built on peer-reviewed clinical published evidence and verified product attributes.
Affiliate relationships and brand partnerships are disclosed on the page where they appear. We never take money to alter core rankings.
We prioritize brands built by women who lived the problem, and we help fund, feature and advocate for the research that's still missing.
Start with what you're experiencing, read the evidence, and meet curated brands and solutions for us by us.
